A true gentleman. The most welcoming person I have ever met. I walk by his old house in Catonsville from time to time and think of the great picnics in that backyard.

The Shea grandchildren loved Dr. Maher. He was a kind and gentle presence when we visited the Pediatric Center. May he rest in peace.

Oh, Dr. Maher was such a lovely man. He was softspoken, always smiling, had a devilish twinkle in his eye and a great sense of humor. I worked with him at The Pediatric Center for years and even attended picnics at his home. He was an excellent doctor and a good, kind man. I'm sure he will be mourned by many, many people.

Sorry to hear about Dr. Maher´s passing. We remember him well as he took great care of our daughter during his stay in Catonsville. A great and caring man. May he RIP.
