Eileen Cohen

Dr. Eileen Z. Cohen, Professor Emerita, of Haverford, Pennsylvania, passed away on Saturday, January 4th, 2025, at the age of 93. She is survived by her beloved goddaughter, Althea (Kaleem) Weinstein Marriott; her devoted nephew, Rabbi Steven (Barbara) Fineblum; her cherished great-niece and great-nephews, Joshua (Andrea) Fineblum, Rachel (the late Brian) Dressin, and Seth (Coleen) Fineblum; her dear friends, Lanny (the late Etta) Miller, Betsy Linehan, and Anne Greene; and many loving extended family members. She was predeceased by her loving sister, Dorothy (Jerry) Fineblum; and her dear parents, Sadie and Harry Cohen.

Eileen was non-judgmental and loving. She was never without a book, especially one, in her words, filled with murder and mayhem. She would give you whatever you needed without question. She always said, "But you can't take yourself too seriously. You have to have fun."
