Fern Schwartzberg

Fern Hoffman Schwartzberg passed away on Tuesday, October 14th, 2025 at the age of 75. She is survived by her loving husband of fifty years, Jaime Schwartzberg; her devoted siblings Wendy Blum and Steven (Margi) Hoffman; her loving children Ryan (Devon) Schwartzberg and Scott (Beth) Schwartzberg; six adoring grandchildren Brady, Hannah, Liam, Dylan, Magnus, and Charlotte; as well as many loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Dr. Barnet and Betty Hoffman. She was also predeceased by her dearly beloved pets Mousse, Chica, Sasha, and Snoopy.

Fern was committed to animal causes and loved her dogs endlessly. In 2017, she and Jaime fulfilled their lifelong dream of going on safari in Africa. Above all else, Sundays by the pool with friends and family were a sacred time, as were gatherings to celebrate the holidays. She will be remembered for her devotion to her family and for her delicious homemade gefilte fish.

Services at Sol Levinson's Chapel, 8900 Reisterstown Road, Pikesville, MD 21208, on Sunday, October 19th, 2025, at 12:30 pm. Interment United Hebrew Cemetery - Washington Blvd. Please omit flowers.
