I was so sorry to hear of DR, Grumbine's passing. dr, Gelhaus delivered my daughter after twenty-four hours of labor in 1964 and dr. grumbine delivered my oldest son in 1970. Whenever I think of them both, I think of pain, but mostly fond memories, also compassion. Sincerely, joyce landgraf

My deepest condolences to the family of Dr. Grumbine. He & Dr. Gelhaus delivered my last two babies, two sons in 1967 & 1969. That team was the best, but Dr. Grumbine was the sweeter of the two........and so very gentle & caring.

My condolences to all the family. Living in "your" house for 30 years, (for the first 10 it was still referred to as 'oh, the Grumbine house'), always made us feel like we knew you. And now, I am blessed to have "young" Dr.Grumbine in my life. Please acccept my most sincere sympathy.

The world has lost a fine gentleman and a wonderful caring physician. I have fond memories of him from both my student days at Lutheran Hospital and from my days there as Obstetric supervisor and Instructor.I wish physicians today were more like him.

Dr. Grumbine was truly one of the kindest people (and doctors) I ever met. He was so comforting to me during a very difficult time in my life. I OFTEN reminisce to others of his kindness. We've lost another good one. A prior patient, E. M. Weber

Deepest sympathies to the Grumbine family. I never met Dr. Grumbine as an adult, however, my mother always spoke very highly of him from the 1960's when he was her OB/GYN, and how wonderful he was during my delivery/birth in February 1969 at St. Agnes Hospital. It's funny how many people I have met over the years, when in conversation, have learned that Dr. Grumbine delivered them too!! He will truly be missed!
