Fred Nuss Obituary



Fred Dean Nuss, 84, a retired Westinghouse engineer who spent 27 years in quality engineering, died July 28, 2014 at Kline Hospital House in Mt. Airy, MD. He was a long time resident of Woodbine, MD after moving from Silver Spring, MD in 1988. Mr. Nuss was born in Catawissa, PA and left the Bloomsburg area for the United States Air Force, where he was a radio operator. He attended Johns Hopkins University and the University of Maryland. He is survived by his wife Barbara, a son Michael of Leesburg, VA and a son Jeffrey of Laurel, MD, a step-son Mark Johnson, a granddaughter Jennifer and grandson Andrew. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2014 from 2pm to 5pm. For details, contact Barbara Nuss at [email protected].
