On June 24, 2017, Frederick Henry Buettner Sr., age 99, of Bel Air, MD passed away. Beloved husband of the late Eleanor Buettner and Edna Mae (Kries) Buettner; devoted father of John N. (Diana) Buettner, Sr., Gary Michael (Lydia) Buettner, Thomas Anthony (Marilyn) Buettner, Stephen Richard Buettner, William Bruce (Cheryl) Buettner, Glenn Eric (Dana) Buettner, Edna Mae McGregor, Mary Oliver, and the late Frederick H. Buettner, Jr. Also survived by 20 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by grandson Scott Bair. Visitation will be held under the caring guidance of the family owned and operated McComas Funeral Home in Abingdon, MD on Friday, June 30, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at 11 am. Interment will take place in Gardens of Faith Cemetery in Baltimore.
