When I think of Gary it's childhood memories. I picture a friendly smiling grown up guy. I was just a kid who spent alot of good times at the Mathews' house. My fondest memory is the day my big sister backed out of our driveway with my mom in the car. Her timing wasn't so good it seems because she ran right into Gary's truck as he was driving by. They said Gary just laughed and brushed it off as only a guy like Gary would. I never saw him angry or unhappy. I am very sorry he is no longer here among us but he will always be here within our hearts and fond memories. Even though it's been several decades since I saw him last, I will always see his smiling face whenever I think of him and my past. Sending peace, love and sympathy to you all.

A good friend to many and a great guy. I will miss his quick wit and outgoing personality. Hit em' long and straight Gary.
