Geeta Karapurkar Stowe

Our dear Geeta, 42, of Bel Air, MD passed away on May 25th. She was the loving daughter of Jayant Karapurkar and the late Rekha Karapurkar and beloved sister of the late Goutumm Karapurkar. Geeta was also very much loved by Jean Kitlowski who championed Geeta, alongside family members, through many of life's ups and downs. Geeta was a caring niece to Uncle and Aunt, Dr. Kisan and Prabhat Karapurkar, cousin to Ameeta Ambe, Shailesh Sardesai, Abhay Sardesai, Anuja Lawande, Tanya Bhasin, and Rita Williams (in the US); and she leaves behind a loving family of many aunts, uncles, and cousins in Goa, India as well as many friends. After completing her Masters Degree in Education from Goucher College, she worked in several school districts across Maryland where she passionately taught ninth grade English.
