George Heinecke Obituary
He was a ret. Fire Captain of 32 years from Baltimore City out of Truck 15. He loved to fish. He completed multiple running marathons in his life. He enjoyed all of his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed his retirement years to the fullest.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Kay Heinecke, his two sons, John Kevin Heinecke and Matthew Heinecke, and two daughters Sybil Shipley (Timothy) and Margaret Busch (Monroe). Also surviving are his brother, Ronnie Heinecke (Sandy) sister, Darlene Hampton, and several grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his sons, Michael and Mark Heinecke, daughter Deustches Heinecke, brother Terry Heinecke, and sister, Sharon Wiles.
A viewing will be held on Friday, April 8, 2022, at 10:00 AM at The Burbage Funeral Home in Berlin. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at Burgee-Henss-Seitz Funeral Home in Baltimore. Letters of condolences can be sent to the family via www.burbagefuneralhome.com. Arrangements are in the care of The Burbage Funeral Home.

My deepest condolences to the family. I've known Sonny (or as my mother's family called him, Oatmeal) since I was a child. He was one of my Uncle Joe's buddies. even though uncle joe was in a wheelchair, the guys took him everywhere. sonny had the best laugh. full belly laughs. So sorry to hear of Sonny's death. We remember him and Brenda from Kickers meetings and from the Lupus Fundraiser that the Berlin Fire department held many years ago. Many of the guys rode their cycles 1000 miles and raised $10 K for the Maryland Lupus Foundation. Brenda and Sonny were so enthusiastic about the event. Our sympathy to the family.
