George Nemphos Obituary
On November 10, 2016 George Nemphos died at Charlote Hall Veterans Home. Mr. Nemphos was 95 yrs old. He served in the Navy in the Pacific during WW II from September 1943 to December 1945. He and his brothers Louis and James owned the New York Grill Restaurant on the corner of Patterson Park Ave and Fayette St. for 40 years. Mr. Nemphos lived in Overlea almost 60 years and was loved and loved his neighbors. His dogs Bo and Blondie were his cherished companions. At Mr. Nemphos request no service will be held.

Chas and Steve, I am sorry to learn of your dad's passing. I can't believe he was 95. I am glad I did meet so many of those Greeks sure were characters! Thinking of you guys!!!
