H. SONBERG Obituary
On March 7, 2017 H. Alexander Sonberg, Jr., age 73, of Joppa, MD passed away. Beloved husband of Barbara Joan Sonberg; devoted father of Gregory A. Sonberg and Joanne E. Sonberg; loving brother of Gregory E. Sonberg. Also survived by grandsons, Thomas Alexander Leisher and Christopher Lee Leisher. Visitation will be held at the family owned and operated McComas Funeral Home in Abingdon, MD on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Service will take place on Wednesday, March 15 at 11 a.m. at Salem United Methodist Church in Bradshaw. Interment will be private.In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Cokesbury United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 85, Abingdon, MD 21009 or Salem United Methodist Church, 7901 Bradshaw Road, Upper Falls, MD 21156. Condolences may be left on the guestbook at mccomasfuneralhome.com.
