Harold August Obituary
On August 4, 2015, Harold Leon August; beloved husband of Toby August (nee Wagman); cherished father of Beth (Yaakov) Sheinfeld and David (Julie) August; loving brother of Herbert (Linda) August, and the late Jerry August and Ruth Morewitz; devoted grandfather of Sam August, Maia Sheinfeld, Josh August, and Noah August. Funeral services and interment will be held at Arlington Cemetery - Chizuk Amuno Congregation. N Rogers Ave. on Thursday, August 6, at 3 pm. Please omit flowers. Contributions in his memory may be sent to the charity of your choice. In mourning at 7902 Winterset Ave., Baltimore, MD 21208, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday.

It's hard to believe that it has been 10 years since Harold's passing. My love to Toby, and to Harold, may he be in the bosom of Hashem, and my gratefulness for each moment, past present and future.

I am so sorry for your loss but now Auggie joins my father and all his undergraduate friends who would routinely gather at our house for chess and cards. Although I was only 5 or 6 at the time ,I can remember Auggie as not only the youngest of the group but the most well liked and respected. I will always hold Auggie in my heart with the same fondness as I did those many years ago

Harold & I shared a special friendship. I felt so close to him from the very beginning. Harold spoke about how much he loved our Kol HaLev Synagogue family with such emotion, that it made me also get teary. I am very grateful to have known Harold during the time he was with us. My prayers are with his beloved family, especially dear Toby. How precious you have been to Harold, for so very many years. We are here for you now, and will continue to be.
