Helen E. Schenning

Helen E. Schenning, age 93, of Bel Air, MD passed away on January 14, 2019 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of Frederick C. and Viola A. (Captain) Knoerlein and wife of the late John Edward Schenning. A homemaker, she enjoyed making crafts and loved to cook. She was very strong in her faith and her church and loved spending time with her loving family.Mrs. Schenning is survived by her son, John L. (Ann) Schenning of Bel Air; daughters, Christine H. Iten of Bel Air, Veronica E. (Gerald) Martin of Street, Joan F. (Karl) Hepp of Ontario, Canada, Patricia A. Magness of White Hall and Theresa A. (David) Gluch of Houston, TX; 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 18, 2019, at 10:30 am at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, Abingdon, MD.
