Dorothy A. Sebright

Sebright (nee Ballard), Dorothy A. faced her cancer diagnosis head on, but after a difficult and courageous battle, passed away on Saturday June 3, 2017. Dorothy was the beloved and devoted wife of Richard A. Sebright for 43 years of marriage, loving mother to three children and proud grandmother to six grandchildren. Dorothy's family was her passion and she loved her time with them. In her professional career, she positively impacted the lives of so many, as a Registered Nurse, working in the field of dialysis. She is survived by her children, Tamara (Stephen) Sebright-Speer, Shannon (Jim) Mann, Michael (fiance Lauren) Sebright; grandchildren Kaitlin, Victoria, Grace, James, Kyle and Jack; granddaughter to be, Savannah; and dear sister of Robert A. (Brenda) Ballard and Rose (Joe) Onan. Preceded in death by her loving husband and best friend, Richard A. Sebright, grandparents Joseph & Nellie (Doody) Eggenspeller, loving parents Robert V. Ballard & Mary Francis (Eggenspeller) Ballard, brother James & Dorothy (Dot) Ballard, sister Bonnie & Steve Kuhtic and nephew Brian Kuhtic. Visitation will be held Wednesday June 14, 2017 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and Thursday June 15, 2017 from 10:00am to 11:00am with memorial service immediately following. Services will be held at the HUTCHENS-STYGAR MID RIVERS Funeral Home & Crematory 5987 Mid Rivers Mall Dr. (St. Peters, MO). Dorothy asked that memorial donations in memory of her be made to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital or Make-A-Wish Foundation. The family would like to thank all those who prayed and cared for Dorothy.
