Iva Gillet Obituary
Iva was born March 24, 1937 in Louisville, Ky to Cecil and Iva-Louise Embry. She attended Foxcroft School, Wheaton College, and the University of Louisville.
She is survived by: her daughters, Iva Louise Gillet; Edith Swann Forrester and her husband, Alex; her son, Sherlock Swann Gillet, Jr. and his wife Bruce Ann; her grandchildren Embry Ann Peace and her husband, Harris; Katherine Leary Degnan and her husband, Dustin; Meredith Berkeley Gillet; Sara Swann Anderson and her husband, Matt; Sherlock Swann Gillet III; her brother, Paul Joel Embry, and his wife, Sandra; as well as four great grandchildren.
Iva was preceded in death by her husband, Sherlock Swann Gillet, her husband of 54 years in 2013.
