James "Jim" Gibbons Sr.

James "Jim" Gibbons, Sr., age 89, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2023. Jim was born in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Thomas and Margaret Mary (Miller) Gibbons. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years Elizabeth (DeVaughn) Gibbons; loving father of Jim Gibbons, Jr. (Kim), Greg Gibbons, Mark Gibbons (Ronnie), Scott Gibbons (Kim), and Jenn Cooper (Steve); cherished grandfather of Andrew (Heather), Nicholas (Hilary), Chelsea, Will, Hannah, Sarah (Adam), Zach, Brendan, Tyler, and Ryan; dear great-grandfather of Lilly and Charlotte. Jim is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving extended family. He is predeceased by his siblings Tom, Margaret Mary, Fran, and Rosemary. A Celebration of Jim's beautiful life will be held at a later time. Details will be provided in the coming weeks.
