James Hawes Obituary

James (Jim) Frederick Hawes, 90, beloved husband of Gwennette (Potts) Hawes, died Monday, July 11, 2022. Jim worked for The C&P Telephone Co. for 32 years as a Traffic Engineer. A long time Ellicott City resident, Jim was a member of Mount Hebron Presbyterian Church. Besides Gwen, he leaves behind his daughter Jean (partner Jim) of Baltimore, MD; son Jim (wife Christine) of Ellicott City, MD; son Tom (wife Sheri) of Columbia, MD: and granddaughters Alison, Alexis, Tess, and Kailin. His family will receive friends on Friday, July 22nd from 2:00 to 4:00 PM (service from 3:00 to 4:00) at Candle Light Funeral Home in Catonsville.

So many fun times, and trips with Gwen and Jim. Also have children the same ages who also share many memories. Our love to all the family! We would love to be there to celebrate a "favorite friend", golf buddy, tennis opponent and great travel companion.
