James Hong Obituary
Jim grew up in Hampden and graduated from Baltimore Polytechnic Institute in 1948. After graduation Jim proudly joined the United States Army and served in the Korean War. Upon his return, Jim made his career at Westinghouse Electric where he worked for 37 years. He enjoyed his family and spending time at his and Norma's beach home.
Jim is survived by stepchildren Walter Smith II (Dorothy) and Cindy Smith Reisberg (Jay); two grandsons: Sean Smith and Christopher Reisberg (Jessica); and three great-grandchildren. He was also survived by brothers William Hong and Charles Hong Jr., and was predeceased by brothers, Tom, John, Paul and Frank Hong, and sister Anna May Lew.
A graveside service will be held at 1PM Monday, January 27, 2025 at Lorraine Park Cemetery, 5608 Dogwood Rd, Woodlawn, MD 21207.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Food pantry at the Ward's Chapel United Methodist Church, 11023 Liberty Road, Randallstown, MD 21133.

My condolences on your loss. I have fond memories of Mr. Jim. To this day, I have never seen anyone do 200 push ups in a row besides him.
