James Jones Obituary

James Leon Jones, Sr. went home to meet the Lord on Friday, April 16, 2021. He was born in Havre de Grace, MD on August 27, 1966 and raised in Harford County, MD where he lived throughout his life. He is survived by his wife, Marsha Jones; his five children, Jessica Hohman, James Jones, Jr., Justin Jones, Dylan Jones, and Julianna Jones; seven grandchildren; his brother, Ken Jones, and sisters, Sandy Kegley and Fay Gordon and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Eldredge "Frank" Jones and his mother, Elizabeth M. Jones-Freeman. James was a diehard Dallas Cowboy fan and loved his rock and roll, but more than anything, he loved his family. He worked in housing maintenance for many years and then for Park Moving and Storage until he had to retire from working due to his declining health. James will be sorely missed, because he was greatly loved.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 21 at the Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home from10am-12pm followed by a service to begin at 12:00pm. Interment will be at Grove Presbyterian Cemetery.
