I never had the opportunity to meet James but did attempt to communicate to him regarding family ancestry. However, he was a prominent educator and family man. My condolences. Katharine or Gregory, I have in my possession the entire LeVeque family tree given to me by you brother-in-law and uncle who married your sister, Elinor on the same day of your marriage to Stephen. I am a historical researcher, writer and archeologist also who worked in Engineering. That is where I met Gene and he left the tree in my possession for unknown reasons. I had it in storage with Engineering files for many years. Thanks to Ancestry web and internet, I found Stephen & wish it be returned to your family. Please contact my email. Once again, my condolences & Thank You.

Rest in peace. I need to establish contact with his son, Steven Gregory Wm. LeVeque regarding my coming in possession of a family tree map which includes the LeVeque legacy. It was handed to me by another distant tree member who had since passed stating he did not want it. I have no association with names on the tree map dating back to 1600's in Ireland. Wm. Boger compiled tree in 1957 from various family bibles. The tree had been placed in storage with Engineering records for 30 years and recently recovered. I worked at firm with former tree owner who dropped it on my desk due to my other involvement in US History research. He left company soon after with no forwarding contact. Hence, it was filed. Due to today's Ancestry research online, I was able to trace down four families. Three without a successful conclusion. Perhaps the LeVeques' can take possession of this tree map and find contacts with other surviving tree families where I was unable to do so. Please email me.

Father LeVeque was my advisor and instructor at Morgan when I worked on my Master's degree in the early 70s. I am thankful for his excellent teaching abilities and kindly manners. He will be missed. My sincere condolences to his family.
