Jamie Conn Obituary
On April 3, 2016, Jamie Marie Conn, mother of James Michael Conn, Jr., daughter of Ruth Joan Peterson Kahline and the late Elmer H. Kahline, Jr., sister of Paul, John and Jim Kahline and Jim's wife Bonnie. Aunt of Kristen Dorsey, her husband Tim and family, Jayden, Clayton and Aubree; Jimmy Kahline and his friend Dee, Danny Kahline and his wife Irene and great nephew Tristan. Also survived by a host of cousins and many many friends. She was predeceased by her nephew, Robbie Kahline. The family will receive friends 3-5 and 7-9 p.m., Thursday, April 14, 2016 at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A. 11605 Reisterstown Rd. Owings Mills, where a memorial service will be held 11:30 a.m., Friday, April 15. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jamie Conn's name to the Baltimore Animal Rescue & Care Shelter, Inc. (BARCS:www.baltimoreanimalshelter.org) 301 Stockholm Street, Baltimore, MD 21230. Online condolences may be offered at www.eckhardtfuneralchapel.com.

Every now and then Jamie's memories pop up on my fb page. I knew her through animal advocacy and she was a wonderful animal lover devoted to helping those in need. She is definitely missed in the rescue community.

I still think of Jamie now and then and remember her wonderful spirit and her love for animals. I will always feel it was a privilege to have have known her and I know she is still doing good in this world.

I had the pleasure of meeting Jamie about 4 years ago at Tail End Kennels where she showed up to help after a bad storm which knocked out all their power. There was no water, no air conditioning, no lights. She brought ice and water for the dogs.
I know the animal rescue world will miss this wonderful, compassionate woman and animal advocate.
My deepest condolences to her family and many friends. With love and respect to a truly amazing woman,

I had the pleasure of being introduced to Jamie while volunteering at the hospital. She was always asking about my special needs daughter, whom she never met, and always said she'd keet her in her prayers. Jamie always had a smile on her face & spirits high. I will cherish knowing her. Jamie now dances with God in Our Lord's loving arms. May God bless her & her family.

Ruth l'm so sorry for your loss. I cared a lot for your daughter when she was going with my son Tom Cummings .He cared a lot for her also and very sad at this time as we all are. Jamie and I kept in touch and l will never forget her. She was a angel on earth and now a angel in heaven. Love Joy Grue
