Jay Polakoff

Jay Mitchell Polakoff, of Lutherville, Maryland, passed away on Tuesday, February 25th, 2025, at the age of 88. He is survived by his beloved wife, Ann Gaskel Polakoff (nee Goldman); loving children, Ed (Elizabeth) Polakoff, Phil (Lori) Polakoff, and Sam (Denise) Polakoff; caring sister, Elinor (John) Mioduski; brother-in-law, Howard (Pat) Goldman; and many adoring grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his loving parents, Abraham and Edith Polakoff.

Jay Polakoff leaves behind a life full of love, laughter, and memories. He was a devoted family man who always made his health and fitness a priority. Jay loved following the Dodgers, no matter where they played, and he enjoyed western movies and getting lost in a good book. He was also passionate about his aquarium, where he took pride in caring for both freshwater and saltwater fish. Jay's 33 years of ownership and vision at his company, TBB, propelled the business to growth and long term success over the years. Above all, he'll be remembered for his hard work, kindness, and the way he always made time for what mattered most. Jay will be missed by his family, friends, and everyone who had the chance to know him.
