On April 26, 2016, Jean Houck Fino; beloved wife of Ray Fino; devoted mother of Erik and Macon Fino of Fredericksburg, VA and Lance Fino of Bel Air, MD, adoring Nona of Alex and Grace Fino, dear sister of Betsy Stone and her husband Greg and family of Granger, IN; cherished sister-in-law of Marguerita Smardzewski and her husband Richard of Bel Air, MD, Jane Bolen and her husband Merle of Uniontown, PA, and Marylou Borowski and her husband Al of Mt. Lebanon, PA. She was the daughter of the late Olive and Eugene Houck of South Bend, IN, and sister of the late Fred E. Houck, also of South Bend. Jean was born and raised in South Bend, IN. She graduated from South Bend Central High School and Bloomsburg University where she met and married her college sweetheart, Ray. She also received a Master's Degree from Towson University. Jean began her teaching career in Baltimore County at Patapsco and Perry Hall High Schools. She retired from Harford Community College after teaching there for 20 years. Jean was a proud volunteer at Fallston General Hospital and Upper Chesapeake Medical Center for more than 15 years. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday May 21st, at 10 am at St. Margaret's Catholic Church, 141 N. Hickory Avenue Bel Air, MD . Arrangements by Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air.
