Jeffrey Swensen Obituary
Jeffrey Eugene Swensen, 57 of Eldersburg, died Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at his home. Born August 8, 1957 in Washington DC, he was the son of Esther Brunk Swensen of Maryland, and the late Eugene Swensen. He was the husband of Susan June Swensen of Eldersburg. Surviving in addition to his wife and mother is his son, Dillon Andrew Swensen of Eldersburg. He had been the Director of Engineering with Cinetic Landis in Hagerstown. He started his career with Pressure Science, Inc. in March 1981 (later acquired by EG&G, and then Eaton). He held various roles in engineering, acted as Business Unit Manager, General Manager and Plant Manager for more than 30 years until his departure in 2013. Many of the aircraft and industrial products that the Eaton Beltsville plant currently produce incorporate Jeff's input to the design and manufacture. Jeff has been issued 15 US Patents during his time at Eaton. The family will receive friends at Ward's Chapel United Methodist Church on Monday, October 13, 2014 from 3-4pm. A memorial service will begin at the church at 4pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ward's Chapel United Methodist Church, 11023 Liberty Rd., Randallstown, MD 21133.

Even though it has been many years since I have been in contact I have been touched by you through our good friends....Karl Tabb, Mike Kogut and Dan Munley.
