I found myself thinking about John today? John was one of a kind and I will always be thankful for John setting me up with George. I bet the two of you have shared lots of memories of phi gamma. George and I would have been celebrating our 54th wedding anniversary on August 7. John you were the best and I think of all the the good times with you and Leslie and the Phi Gama group!

Still miss him all the time. But we all laugh and have good thoughts when Mad Dog's name comes up. That is being rich. How many are never mentions after they have passed on. He was the best. Jon

The Zemarel family thinks of John just about every day. We miss him terribly but the good news is that when we think of him it always brings at least a smile if not an out and out good laugh! There couldn't have been a better friend.

It's not the same without you around, Dad!

Thanks Mr. Gayhard for keeping the guest book alive for another year. It definitely means a lot to my family and all of the friends that have visited here. It truly is so hard to believe that it has been one year. It was a hard year, but it felt as though it went quickly.

I love you dad...I miss you so much.

As the anniversary of John's passing approaches, I wanted to let you know you have been in my thoughts and prayers all year. I still miss my friend John but I know how proud he has been watching the way his family has handled his loss with so much dignity and grace. As the years go by may the tears turn to smiles at his memory. Bob Hardie

Hello everyone,

I doubt very many check in to this guestbook, but I still do every now and then. I wanted to wish everyone a wonderful holiday season. It's going to be very difficult without my dad, but he loved Christmas time so much, and we have all of those wonderful memories of him dressing up as Santa to comfort us! I know he has been watching over us all, and he will continue to so do. I love you Dad! Happy holidays.

Our prayers go out to the family, George and I were stunned to get such sad news. Johnny is someone who we will never forget. After all he introduced me to George 36 years ago. I can still see him as Santa with Laurie, Lacie & Maggie sitting in his lap. He had a gift to make you laugh and smile. He will be missed.

To the Cain Family,

We were shocked and deeply saddened to hear of your loss. We all have our fond menories of John. Ray said he pictures him like it was yesterday, Linsey remembers him sitting at the games cheering John on for baseball and teasing her, and I remember him liking my frozen custard which I made for him at our baseball party. He will be missed by all. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
