John KORONA Obituary
John E. Korona, age 78, of Sykesville, passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2017. Born June 25, 1938, in Johnstown, PA he was the son of the late John J. Korona and Grace Moriarty Korona. He was the husband of Margaret A. "Peggy" Mosberg Korona, whom he married on January 26, 1963. Surviving in addition to his wife are sister-in-law, Karen J. Korona of Berkeley Springs, WV; a niece, Erin Zepp and her husband Troy; a nephew, James W. Korona, Jr. of Dundalk; a great-nephew, Chad Thomas Zepp and a great-niece, Anna Grace Zepp. He was predeceased by a brother, James W. Korona and mother-in-law, Mabel Mosberg. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 22, 2017, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm at Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Road, Sykesville. Funeral liturgy will be held on Friday, June 23, 2017, at 10:30am at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 9531 Liberty Road, Randallstown, 21133. Interment will follow in Lorraine Park Cemetery, Baltimore. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church.

Stumbled on this today (8-26-17), and I am deeply saddened by his passing. I'm sorry we didn't spend more time together as I got older. May God bless and comfort you Aunt Peggy, during your time of sorrow. Uncle John was so full of fun, and a wonderful God Parent to me. I have the memories of many wonderful times he and I spent together, the happy times that we all spent together. Please accept my deepest condolences and prayers for you.
