To the family of Mr. John,
I had the luxury of working side by side with Mr. John at Humanim for about 4 years. He was such a wonderful man with a huge heart. We had only known each other for a few months when I lost my son and he went out of his way to attend the services. Every year thereafter around that time he would ask me how I was holding up. John has left an ever lasting impression on everyone that had the chance to meet such a wonderful man. He will be truly missed!

I am a friend from years ago. We met at UMBC and Johnny became a dear friend. I moved away and did not see him again. However, a friend of a friend gave me Johnny´s phone number and we spoke around Christmas time this past year. I am so very grateful that we did. I am sorry that he passed, but I will carry his smile in my heart forever. Peg B

Beth, I was sorry to hear of John's passing. I was lucky to spend some time with you and John together when he would join you in Pittsburgh. We had great conversation and great food, if you recall. After reading John's obituary, it became clear to me that he lived an interesting life, full of friends and family. Unfortunately, John suffered greatly his last few years, which I'm sure was so difficult for those who loved him to watch. Knowing you as I do, I also know that you were an amazing caretaker and would have made his life as easy as possible, under the circumstances. I will be thinking of you and Molly and all who cherished John. Love, Kim
