To Johns family, his sister Joyce, his brother... John & met many years ago in the 70´s. We clicked because of our love for dancing. He was a fantastic dance partner. We had some great mutual friends & I just now heard of his passing back in 2014. Many years later I still had the desire to write this. Not sure if his wife or his family will see it, but I truly do want to pass on my condolences. Thank you for giving me this opportunity.

Dear Bev,
I have just been informed of John's passing by Jay. I am saddened as I sit here and think back over almost a 50 year friendship with John.
We were roommates, workmates, comrades and best friends. John was a guy who would do anything he could for a friend.
We had a lot of good times together, traveled about 3/4 of the way around the globe together saw sights from Tokyo to RVN to London & Frankfort & Italy.
John always had my back. I'm glad I had the opportunities To visit with both you and John during years past.
His memory will stay with me till the day I die. John was a true friend no matter how distant. I will truly miss him and the friendship we shared.
You have my sincerest condolences at the loss of your loving husband and my dear friend.

Dear Bev,
I am so sorry to hear of John's passing. I will miss him and will always remember him for the nickname he gave me of "sonic girl." You are in my thoughts and prayers!

Bev and family, I am very saddened to hear the passing of "BIG JOHN" as I called him. He was a great caring person whom I was honored to have met through the AIR GUARD. He always kept me laughing. He was a great weapons man and crew-chief who served his country with pride from Vietnam and other conflicts. If there is anything you need assistance with please call us 24/7. God Bless and watch over you during this sad time. Jim Shewokis, MSgt. retired and family, Somers Connecticut. 860 763-5257. Till we met again John, keep em flying and ready!! God Bless, Jim
