John was a wonderful mentor and friend to me. I felt humble to have stepped into his shoes as Deputy Health Officer in Anne Arundel County. His extensive knowledge of public health and his dry sense of humor will not be forgotten.

John was a dear friend to my grandparents Stu and Mary Linderman and to my aunt Mary Linderman. John was a part of our lives and our family for as long as I can remember. He was a kind, sweet southern gentleman who I will remember with great fondness.
