On September 28, 2014, Joseph Eli Berman, beloved husband of Lisa Berman (nee Nasberg); loving father of Hannah and Toby Berman; cherished brother of Jordan (Emily) Berman and Joshua (Hilary) Berman; adored son of Sandi (nee Blickstein) and Buddy Gilbert and the late Harvey Berman; dear son-in-law of Melanie and Stanley Nasberg; dear step-brother of Beth Katz and Kim Bartel; loving brother-in-law of Jennifer and Todd Sundheimer and Susan and Jason Abrams. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Services at SOL LEVINSON & BROS., INC., 8900 Reisterstown Road, at Mount Wilson Lane on Tuesday, September 30, at 9 am. Interment Beth Jacob Anshe Veshear Cemetery - Rosedale. Please omit flowers. Contributions in his memory may be sent to Chabad of Carroll County, 1311 Cabello Court, Skyesville, MD 21784. In mourning at 1113 Sassafras Circle, Eldersburg, MD 21784, Tuesday immediately following interment, then Wednesday and Thursday beginning at 12pm with services at 7pm each day.

Sharon and I were out of state and just found out about Joe's death. We were shocked by the news. Joe was a vibrant, wonderful person who loved life and his family and his affection was reciprocated by all those who truly knew him. We know that his passing is a great loss to his entire family and hope that his wonderful memory lessens your sorrow.

Sandy & Family---we were so very sorry to hear of Joey's passing. It seems like just the other day we were watching him play ball at Pikesville Senior High. He was always very caring and loving and he will be missed. May G-d bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
