Joseph Marecki Obituary
Joseph was the beloved husband of Kelly Anne (Corbett) Marecki, with whom he shared 35 wonderful years of marriage. He was a devoted father to Emily (Stephen) Marecki and Grace Marecki.
He is also survived by his loving sister, Janet (Kevin) Wright; his father-in-law, David Corbett; as well as many brothers and sisters in law, Erin (Matt) Hurlburt, Kerry (Mark) Heimerl, and Meghan Montague; along with cherished nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters Jean Marecki and Joan Marecki; his niece Summer Hunter; his mother-in-law, Priscilla Corbett; and his brother-in-law Rich Montague.
Joseph spent the last 10 years working with the Maryland Port Administration, where he was a dedicated and respected member of the team. Outside of work, he enjoyed golfing, exercising, walking, lacrosse, football, and trips to the beach. Joseph found his greatest joy in spending time with his family.
Family and friends will be received for a visitation on Thursday, October 9, 2025, from 2 – 4 & 6 – 9 PM at McComas Family Funeral Homes in Bel Air. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 10, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Margaret Catholic Church, Bel Air, Maryland.
