Kathleen Grazer Obituary

Kathleen H. Grazer, 79, died peacefully on June 27, 2024, in Orlando, Fl. Kathleen was the only daughter among six brothers, born in September 1944 in Elizabeth New Jersey to Joseph and Ellen R. She married young, had two children, and returned to finish her college degrees. She was witty, smart, and highly educated, earning an M.B.A. with honors. Her husband, Dr. William Grazer, contributed to that Masters's Degree as he was one of her professors! Kathleen had many professional pursuits, but her fondest was working for her brother, attorney Terrance Reed. Kathleen loved gardening and throwing family parties. If life has a soundtrack hers would be the Joni Mitchell album "Blue." Throughout her journey with dementia, she never forgot to ask for her husband, and son, Kevin Grazer, who predeceased her. Kathleen is survived by three brothers, Richard (Elizabeth) Reed, Terrance (Mary Ellen) Reed, Mark (Maria) Reed, numerous nieces and nephews, and her beloved daughter, Dr. Ellen R. (James) Basile, grandchildren, Matthew, Austin, Kathleen (John Rafferty), Declan Basile, and her first great-grandson, Evander Rafferty. A private interment at Arlington National Cemetery will be at a later date.
