Kenneth Hubbard Obituary
Kenneth R. Hubbard age 79 went to be with the Lord July 25 ,2014. He is preceded in death by his parents William Hubbard and Dollie Ballew Hubbard, sisters Alma Sliger, Shirley Feathers, Lilly Porter, Mildred Coleman, Lorene Hubbard and brother William H. Hubbard. Kenneth has many special nieces and nephews as well as many friends. Kenneth was born and grew up in Knoxville, Tn. and after many years moved to Baltimore, Maryland where most of his family lived. He was a U.S. Army veteran and afterwards worked in the paint manufacturing business for forty years. His lifelong interests were the beauty of art and antiques. He was a kind and loving son and brother. A Funeral Service will be held at the family owned Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 York Rd. (beltway exit 26) on Tuesday at 1 PM. Friends may call on Monday 3-5 & 7-9 PM. Interment Druid Ridge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to American Cancer Society 8219 Town Center Drive, Baltimore, MD 21236.

Ken was a wonderful neighbor to us in the York Courts. He took such pride in beautifully maintaining his home and yard. He always had a smile and a wave when we would walk by his front porch. He will be missed.

Uncle Kenneth,
You made us feel loved and special. Thank you for your thoughtful gifts and kind notes. You are a great man with such a good heart, and we enjoyed so much the time we were able to share in Tennessee. It was a blessing that we had you in our lives, even for just a short time, and the impact you made was so strong. You are very loved.
See you again one day..

Ken always had a kind word and friendly smile and I'm glad that we were friends and neighbors for 14 years at The York Court of Guilford. His contributions to the efforts we used to take on to improve our community were always forthcoming and helpful. I'm glad to have known such a kind and gentle soul and may he rest in peace.
