No words can express how saddened we all feel at the loss of Kenny. A strong faith is so very important at a time like this. None of us know why god called him home so soon but I do know that us poor souls, who are left behind, will one day see Kenny and all are loved ones again---and that will be a great day. For some of us, this may be awhile, but I'm certain for Kenny, it will be just a matter of moments. Let's all hold tight to that thought.

To the family of Kenneth Link,
My sincerest condolences to you all on your heartbreaking loss. My son had called to tell me that he along with about 250 cadets were enroute to Maryland for the funeral. I was overwhelmed with pride for our cadets and the wonderful and fitting tribute that'll pay to your son and your family. I pray that the Coast Guard's presence brings you some measure of comfort. He was and always will be part of the Coast Guard and will remain in the hearts of his classmates. God bless you all now and in the days to come.
