Kenneth Snyder Obituary

Kenneth "Ken" Snyder, of Bowie, Maryland, passed away on Monday, September 1st, 2025, at the age of 70. He is survived by his beloved wife, Felicia Snyder; his adoring daughter, Abigail Snyder; his devoted brother, David Snyder; and his treasured dog, Chewy. He was predeceased by his loving parents, Edith and Sidney Snyder.

Ken Snyder lived his life with a full heart, a quiet strength, and an unwavering love for his family. For 35 beautiful years, he shared his life with his beloved wife, Felicia, and together they raised their daughter, Abigail, who was the center of his world. Known as the ultimate "Figure Skating Dad," Ken proudly took Abigail to every practice and competition, cheering her on with pride and joy that only a father's love could bring.

Cars were Ken's lifelong passion, and he spent his career as a dedicated Service Manager at a car dealership, always happy to share his knowledge and lend a hand. Before becoming a family man, he loved the thrill of drag racing fast cars. In later years, he found joy in watching the races and helping friends and family whenever they found themselves stranded with car trouble, because Ken was the one everyone knew they could count on.

A quiet man with a good punch line, Ken had a way of saying just the right thing. Often with a perfectly timed one-liner that would make everyone smile. He adored animals, talking to them as if they understood every word, and he shared a special bond with his dog, Chewy. Ken was a proud Jewish man and lived as a true "Mensch"-kind, humble, and full of love.

Though his voice was soft, the impact of his life was profound. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, devotion, and quiet humor that will live on in the hearts of those who loved him most.
