I had done his transcription work for three years while he was still alive and kicking and he was a great doctor. May The Good Lord have mercy on him.

I just found out that Dr. Becker passed away (8/2017). He did knee replacements for both of my Mom's knees. It changed her life and enhanced it. She continued to see him for many years. He was a great doctor and friend to her. Sympathy to his family.

I worked with Larry for many years at Sinai on a surgical unit and in the Operating Room. He was a kind, caring man and always a pleasure to work with. Recently I was talking about how I may need surgery and made the comment that unfortunately the surgeon I would want to perform my surgery is retired. That's when I learned he had died. What a terrible loss. My condolences to his family.

Dr Becker fixed my knee in 96. What a great doctor. I hurt my other knee in 06 and went to see him. He informed me that he didn't do surgery anymore. He told me he would have me see a doctor he would allow to operate on him. He was a gear doctor so sorry to find out he passed.

Larry was my former brother in law, and I have fond memories of both Larry, growing up, and my former in laws, Ada and Bernie Becker...elegant, sophisticated, gracious, and beautiful, and a true role model.
When Leonardo Da Vinci died, it was said at the time, "...It is a hurt to anyone to lose such a man, for nature cannot again produce his like..."
Rest in peace Larry, all of us who were proud to know you will carry your memories with us to the end of our days...you were truly loved by all..

So sad and very sorry for your loss. I remember Dr. Becker in my very early days at Baltimore County General Hospital. Such a nice, kind man and outstanding surgeon. He would walk down the hall and all the ladies would just swoon as he passed. Over the last 15 years or so, our paths crossed again in the claims field as Dr. Becker was the GURU of knee injuries. We could always count on him for an unbiased second opinion. He will be missed by many.
I hope you find peace knowing that he is at peace.

It is difficult to comprehend the loss of such a loving, caring, thoughtful, and amazing person that Larry Becker was. His memory will live in the hearts and minds not only of his dear family, but of all those who knew him. I knew him first as a nurse. When ever he came to see one of his patients he always had a smile on his face, and he was always kind and thoughtful. Later, as a patient I saw him in his practice, he was the same; always smiling, and always kind and thoughtful. He was close to some of my family members who are shocked, and saddened by the loss of this wonderful man. Sharon Kreitzer

Such a wonderful man and surgeon. I scrubbed my first artroscopy with him, many, many years ago. I am now retired and no longer live in Baltimore. He was a great teacher and so patient, the females would almost deck each other to get to be the surg tech to scrub with him on his cases. Nothing but good memories, never to be forgotten. My thoughts go out to the family, he will certainly be misses.

Dr Becker and I go back 45 years. I was a basketball player at St Mary's College, St Mary's City. Playing basketball I sustained a severe knee injury. Dr Larry Beckers name was recommended to me over and over again. He took care of knee then and several times after that. We became friends. We both shared a passion for sports. It made both of us smile.
He touched so many lives. Today all of us that knew him family professional and friends will always remember a man of many talents and for me FRIEND
