The day I heard the news I felt my heart shudder in pain and joy. Pain that my new found brother was taken from me and I never got to tell him how special he really was to me.. Joy that I know in my heart he will suffer no more and I know he is watching me and smiling down. Larry my heart aches and sings for you, the times we shared can never be taken away. I will heed your advice and make my time on this Earth meaningful to our people.God Bless and keep your family until we all return to His precious home.. Peace my brother..
Until we meet again...

If you can only imagine to my surprise when I found out that you were forever gone...
God looked around his Garden
and found an empty place.
He then looked down upon His earth
and saw your loving face.
He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest.
His Garden must be beautiful,
because he always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering;
and how much you were in pain.
Knowing that you would never get well on earth again.
He saw your path was difficult;
he closed your tired eyes;
He whispered to you "Peace be Thine"
and gave you wings to fly.
Although I couldn't see you sleeping
so calm and free of pain,
I would not wish you back to earth
to suffer once again.
You've left precious memories for all to share;
knowing that your love will be a comfort guide;
For you to live on through your children;
always being by their side.
My heart is sadden to know that I have lost you,
but you did not go alone.
For part of me went with you
on the day God called you home.

Larry was a rare and special gem who is now a star in the heavenly body of God. Watch the sky on a clear night and see him as he shoots by. Be assured Family, that he is at peace.
Love, Prayers and Peace to you.

To the Tate family,
Larry was truly a very good friend off mine. I have known the Tate family all my life. Just remember Larry is just away for now, until you meet him again. May God continue to bless each and everyone off you?

Ms. Annie:
Larry was indeed a special person. If we could hear Larry I'm sure he'd be singing "if you could see me now, I'm walking the streets of gold; if you could see me now, I'm standing tall and whole; if you could see me now, you'd know I've seen Jesus' face; if you could only see me now - you wouldn't want me to leave this special place." Larry is no longer suffering, he's with our heavenly Father who does all things well and makes no mistakes. Larry heard Jesus' tender voice beaconing him from labor to reward. May God bless and keep you during your trying hour.

I would like to express my deepest sympathy to the Tate family. Mrs. Annie, Terri, Lisa and Kim, lean on God's unchanging hands. Larry was one of the sweetest men I've ever known. He was so very kind and giving. Larry will be missed by all that knew him. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
