Laura Stone Obituary
On July 18, 2015 Laura Huntley Stone beloved wife of Neil Midkiff; devoted mother of Caroline Wacker and Charles Wacker; beloved daughter of Caroline Stone and dear sister of Michael Stone. Friends may call at the family owned Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 York Road (beltway exit 26) on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A Memorial Service will be held at St. James Episcopal Church, 3100 Monkton Road on Saturday at 1 PM. Inurnment St. James Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Laura's memory may be made to the Island Turtle Team, Isle of Palms/Sullivan Island, SC

Neil was visiting with Nick and me the day he left Lewes to meet Laura in Baltimore on a blind date! He called me after the date and told me that she was the one!! :)
That was almost 5 years ago......finally, they both found happiness.......the rest is history.
Our sincere sympathies go out to both the Midkiff and Stone families......we were so lucky to have Laura in our lives for those 5 short years....

I went to UNC with Laura, and we always had such a great time together. For a wedding gift to me, she replaced the lost Tar Heel "sacred pom pon" which I still use! I am so sorry to hear about her passing and am thinking of all of you mourning her now. She was one of a kind, for sure!
