I knew Leon at Holy Cross. We became friends because we were both psychology majors and therefore took some of the same courses. He was a wonderful person and I know he will be missed by many. Please know that Leon and his family are in my thoughts and prayers.

I first meant Leon two years ago when he coached my foster son in basketball at Liberty Road Recreation. He had such a caring demeanor about him. He took an interest in helping my son with special needs. He would talk him through situations and help him to see the good in handling things without violence.
He will be truly missed.
My prayers are with the family doing this time of great loss.
May God's Love serve as a comfort
to you.

We wish to express our deepest and heartfelt condolences to the Dickerson family. We pray that God will send you peace in this difficult time.
Leon has been such a long time friend to both of us. We thank him for his kind spirit, compassionate nature, and pure heart. Although we will miss him, the fond memories of his true friendship will remain in our hearts and minds.
Brother Leon, watch over and bless us with your love. Very soon we will see you again in the presence of the Lord doing what you do best...teaching, guiding, and caring for others.
Peace, Love, and Blessings

My heartfelt sympathy to the family of Leon, especially his parents and brother Cleon. I knew both boys while they attended Cardinal Gibbons with my sons Jim and Tom. He was too good to be taken from us so soon. I am sure he is with Ray Mullis trying to coach basketball with the angels.

My condolences to all family and friends and anyone touched by Leon's great spirit. I first met Leon in the fall of 1988 when we shared a history course together as freshmen. As juniors we shared the same residence hall. This is not anything new or profound to those who knew him, but I cannot say enough about how highly I thought of Leon. Please know my family's thoughts and prayers are with you.

My life has been touched by an angel. I can't help but wipe these tear of unforgettable memories. As I replay our tag team card games. Our endless party's with crabs on the menu each winter. I know my life will never remain the same. This lost was to much to bare. The know "Leon" is to love him whole-heartedly with out a choice.I know you are reading these words right now looking down from heaven. But know matter how far away you are from us now, you will always remain in our hearts and lives forever. I understand now that the Lord needs you for more work, so go and take your place in line to receive your halo.I know that I am truly blessed that my life has been touched by an angel.
Love always,
Dayon & La,zonta Genius and family...

You'll never now how deeply I felt the loss of Leon. He was always such a gentleman. I am sure that he, Mr. Mulliss and Mr. Garmer are all smiling down on us as we struggle to reach that happy plaace that they have reached before us. I'm sure Leon and Mr. Mullis are shooting some "one on one" while Mr. Garmer watches. My son and I will be at the viewing Thursday, but unfortunately I cannot make the funeral because it is the last day of school here. Thanks for calling me. I called my daughter and she was very upset also.
