Leonard Miller

Leonard "Lenny" Miller, passed away on Saturday, August 3rd, 2024, at the age of 87. He is survived by his loving son, Jeffrey M. Miller; adored grandchildren, Elizabeth, and Alexis, and great-grandchildren, Brielle, Beckham, Bronson, Guinevere, and Isaac. He was predeceased by his beloved brother, Morton Miller; dear parents, Isaac and Bess Miller and loving grandchild, Taylor Benkert.

Lenny was a lifelong Baltimore resident, a beloved member of Shaarei Tfiloh and served as the President of Whitestone Benefit Services. His passion for sports was evident in his achievements as a star multi-sport athlete in baseball, football, basketball, and tennis. He was a Golden Glove recipient for softball, earned a Maryland State Championship in softball, and was a multi-recipient Gold medalist in the Senior Olympics. Along with his athleticism and love of sport, Lenny was a well known and accomplished dancer and vocalist in many styles, including Broadway, big band, swing, and jazz. In addition to sports, singing, and dancing, Lenny enjoyed performing in local theater throughout Baltimore. A proud graduate of the University of Maryland, he also served as President of the Easterwood Boys Club. Lenny's dedication to his community and his vibrant spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Services at Sol Levinson's Chapel, 8900 Reisterstown Road, Pikesville, MD 21208, on Wednesday, August 7th, 2024, at 1 pm. Interment Kovna Cemetery, Rosedale, MD. Please omit flowers. Contributions in his memory may be sent to the Boystown Jerusalem Foundation of America, 110 Hillside Blvd, suite 14, Lakewood, NJ 08701 or the charity of your choice. The family will be in mourning at 68 Pickersgill Square, Owings Mills, MD 21117, following interment with services at 8 pm.
