Loretta was a great friend to my mom and dad over the last several years, making lunch dates when she would come to Syracuse, NY with her sister, Elaine. I, personally, never had the chance to actually meet Loretta--- we chatted via email and text messages and cards and made plans for her next visit after this pandemic but, God had other plans. I am writing this for her family---in loving memory of a truly wonderful, sensitive, brave and loving person.
Love and sympathy to her family and friends
and to Loretta, we WILL meet one day, just not in Syracuse...

Ms. Loretta was always kind and welcoming at church. Her smile would always lift you out of a foul mood. Since the lockdown, I have missed seeing friendly faces. Knowing I will not be able to say good-bye and thank you for everything you have done on this earthly plain is disappointing. I am glad to know I will be able say "Hello" in the future. My condolences to the family. I am thankful to know your mother, God's angelic warrior. I pray her love fills the holes in your heart and builds a bridge of support in the days to come.

Loretta kept us laughing at Everfit and Pickle Ball at the Y. So much fun and was friends with everyone. Always active and had funny stories to tell about her adventures. I'll miss you, Loretta

Teresa,
I'm so sorry for your loss. I know it was a blessing to your mother to have you in her life, and for you to be able to support her as her health declined. Sending you warm thoughts and condolences from up the road in Gettysburg. Best, Joe

I have some very fond memories of Loretta from the Y - I first met Loretta when she came to Everfit. She was just so darn much fun and loved to laugh. I told her about my Highpoint adventures and she became interested in going to the highest points in each state. I was impressed that she was able to do so many in such a short period of time. I told her that we would take pictures of the USGS markers along with listing the highpoint numbers - it was an easy way to keep track. I have some great text messages and pictures of Loretta’s highpoint adventures....reading them again today made me smile (and cry). I will definitely miss Loretta.

I met Loretta playing Pickleball. Such a fun generous spirit. I enjoyed her so very much. She and I always laughed over the fact that her T shirts were always pressed and the sleeves creased. I will miss seeing her and am so glad our paths crossed.

I am so sorry to hear of Loretta's passing. It breaks my heart to know she is no longer with us. One of the great benefits of playing Pickleball at the Y was getting to know Loretta. She always had a beautiful smile, warm hug, and great laugh. It was an absolute joy to play along side her and to laugh along with her. My deepest sympathy to the family.

Loretta was the first one to welcome me when I ventured into the Everfit class at the Y. When I was unsure how the class worked, it was Loretta who helped me pick out appropriate equipment and explained class procedures. With her help and encouragement, I soon became a class regular. She always kept the class lively with her cheery smile and quick jokes. When a new member arrived, Loretta immediately took that member under her wing and made everyone feel welcome and included. She will be sorely missed.

I knew your spirit would soar, dear friend, to be rid of the pain, to celebrate with loved ones & to meet our God. Remember to save the room next to yours! I miss you best friend, you sure were my gift from God.
