It's hard to believe it's been 6 years, old friend. A whole new generation of disc golfers still see your commemorative disc posted at the Druid Hill Disc Golf Course. Rest in peace friend.

I know you are at peace with "the father" as you would say. I will never forget how you would call any time of the morning and night to check in on me without ever complaining about you. Something no one will never understand. I will miss you my special friend.

My condolences go out to the family in your time of mourning. Malcolm was a dear friend of mine. We met a long time ago, playing disc golf. He has given some great memories and a friendship that will last a lifetime. He had a very special, spiritual personality that you just dont find in too many people and I am blessed to have had a chance to meet him.

To the Joyce family, all of the disc golf friends of Malcolm, to whom we usually referred as "X-Man," his disc golf moniker, please accept our sincere condolences. Malcolm spent many hours at Druid Hill Disc Golf Course playing his favorite sport, and we all were richer for it. He will be missed.

To the Joyce family,

I'm so sorry for the loss of your father and brother. I was at Douglass with Malcolm. He was smart, extremely talented in art, very kind and considerate, always the gentleman and had a wry sense of humor. I saw him occasionally post high school and he had not changed. He still possessed those same endearing qualities. I'm so glad to have known Malcolm.

May you be comforted by your love and memories of Malcolm and know that he touched many others as well.
