Mary Goetz Obituary

Mary Anna Goetz of Aberdeen died on Friday, August 27 at the Senator Bob Hooper House. She was 104. Born in Churchville, MD she was the daughter of the late Anton and Catherine (Kral) Louch and wife of the late Vernon "Bud" Goetz, who died in 2008. In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by her son, Edward Vernon Goetz.

A homemaker, Mrs. Goetz was a very active member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. Until recently she was still attending Saturday Mass.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 1, at 10:00 am at St. Joan of Arc Church where a visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:00 am. Interment will be at Harford Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory may be made to St. Joan of Arc School, 222 S. Law Street, Aberdeen, MD 21001.
