Matilda Butler Obituary
May 22, 1936-October 21, 2024
Born in Salisbury, Maryland, Tillie Butler was the daughter of the late Otis and Mabel Worthington. She is survived by her beloved husband of 65 years, Paul Rigdon Butler ("her Buddy Butler") and three children: Kristin Baker (Adrian), Lynn Crofton(Andrew), and Paul R Butler , Jr. ; five grandchildren: Grace Giannaris (William), Lucas Crofton, Madelyn Coates (Kyle), Sydney Glock (Jack) and Lane Crofton; and two great grandchildren: Jane and Francis Giannaris. She was preceded in death by her brother Lane Worthington.
Tillie requested that upon her demise there would be no formal service, that her remains would be donated for medical research/education and subsequent cremation.
Memory donations may be made to Slate Ridge Presbyterian Church,1630 Chestnut Street, Whiteford MD 21160.
