Michael Corcoran Obituary



Baltimore - Michael Elmont Corcoran, Jr., 78, died March 20, 2017 at Stella Maris following a brief illness. The son of the late Michael and Mary Lou (Bredariol) Corcoran, he was a lifelong resident of Baltimore, having lived briefly in Jarrettsville in his later years. He leaves his son, Michael E. Corcoran III and his wife Karen (Jarrettsville); his daughter Stacy N. C. Bryan and her husband Paul (Baltimore City); and his son Daniel J. Corcoran and his wife Jennifer (Parkville). He is survived by seven grandchildren: Katie, Michael, Grace, Nicholas, Lily, James, and Thomas. He also leaves behind his faithful furry companion, Murphy. During life, he was surrounded by many loving family and friends. Mr. Corcoran is predeceased by his brother Ronald, sister Dolores, and most beloved wife, Nancy (Callahan) Corcoran. A Christian memorial service and dinner for family and friends will be held on April 4th, 5 pm, at Grandview Christian Church (Fallston). A funeral liturgy will follow on April 5th, 10 am, at St. Stephen Catholic Church (Bradshaw). There will be a private inurnment. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to Stella Maris Hospice.

Hi there, Pop. I miss being able to walk over to your apartment everyday to hear your stories (even if they were the same ones every time). The night you died, I left a Snickers bar under your hospice pillow. I hope you took it with you. I love you.
