Maring, Michael D. Suddenly On Thursday February 6, 2014 at his home in Woodbine. Michael DeWitt Maring. Beloved husband of Patricia (Burgoon) Maring. Dearest son of Aubrey DeWitt Maring and the Late Ruth Ellen (Hidey) Maring. Devoted Father of Gennis and husband Ted Halmi Loving Grandfather of Marczella Halmi. Dear Brother pf Mark Maring and Melanie Lundquist, Uncle of Katelyn and Kristyn Lundquist. Services will be conducted Monday, February 10, 2014 at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home and Crematory, PA, 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD 21784 10:30 AM. The Family will receive friends on Saturday February 8, 2014 7 to 9 PM and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Funeral Home. I had the privlidge of working with Mike while I too worked for the County. He had a tough job and did a great job at it, gaining the respect of many who came in contact with him even if he didn't see things their way. He's been missed and my sympathies go out to his family.
