We loved Mikey and will miss him - Rosh Hashanah, Shabbat and Pesach will not be the same without him. We will never forget the support and love Paula and he provided to the "cousins" as they were growing up, the football arguments and the ball head jokes. He introduced ripping Challah into our family; it remains and will always be his gift to us. So, no veggie main course at the Seder this year? No, Paula do not worry - we will make one in his memory and in honor you both.
Love,
The Sherman Cousins

Our love, thoughts, and prayers go out to Paula and family. Our friends and neighbors in Cabuya, Costa Rica, Mike and Paula opened their hearts and home to us all. Dr Mike was our resident doctor in the jungle, listening to our ailments and offering advice on treatment.
Baking and cooking was an adventure with Mike. He would add a little of this, a little of that, no recipe was duplicated. From jams to scones and biscotti, to dinners, he was a self made chef!
We are lucky to have known this man with the infectious smile, humorous personality, and gentle soul, Dr Mike.
Sending love to all ❤

My sincerest condolences to Paula and Michael's family on the passing of Michael, such a kind and caring soul. Always intellectually curious, Mike was a valued member our our long-time wine and food club, the Chesapeake Bacchus Club but, much more than that, Mike was a friend to us all. We will miss his wit and goodness.
