So many wonderful memories! Uncle Mike would offer my sister and I either a HUGE dollar bill or a bag of candy each time we went to the cabin. One year we chose the dollar for memory sake. He was so thoughtful and kind, so full of love that he shared with each of us. I remember each time before we left to head back to Indiana, standing at the cars, we´d all sing "until we meet again" with tears in our eyes. And of course, "hit the road Jack", having one more laugh together. Uncle Mike and Aunt Fran are dearly missed. Until we meet again

To My Dearest Uncle Mike and Aunt Frances:
Although you are physically gone from my reach, I carry you around on my heart, like a badge. You personified love and warmth and comfort and generosity for so many people over the years. To me, you were the grandparents we could only wish for. Nine years ago after the loss of my Dad, I truly began to feel enveloped in your loving kindness. We went straight from the hospital to your door, where you made us a tray of hot chocolate to warm us on the outside, and your hugs warmed us on the inside. Your home was always a haven, all the way back to the cabin, I remember feeling an inexplicable feeling of peace the moment I stepped over the threshold. Wherever it is that you are, I know you are together, holding hands, smiling. This has to be so, I can see it so clearly in my mind's eye. That is how you will always be remembered. Mark and I will miss you both so much but we will keep you alive in the stories we tell to our little girl, Isabella Frances. You will never be forgotten, but continue to live forever and ever in our hearts.
Your Loving Niece,
"The Beck"

Uncle Mike,
We miss you so much. I am so grateful for the time that we had, I just wish there was more. You were the only grandfather I ever had, and am so glad you were there to fill that role. I learned so much from you and Aunt Frances about how to love. I can only hope that I reflect some of that in my life. I will do so in your honor, and keep you in my memory always. Thanks for all the hugs, laughter and good times. Both Eric and I love you dearly and will miss you very, very much.

Poppy,

You will always have a special place in my heart. You and Ning Ning were the grandparents I never had. I am so sad that you are gone and that I didn't get to see you one last time but I know I will see you again. Because of you I have some of the best childhood memories. Trips to the cabin and sledding in the snow then hot chocolate; The story of the little girl in the truck who was told not to touch the door handles..lol; When you brought KFC home and I yelled "MMM Chickum!" I could go on and on. You are dearly loved and missed!

As I reflect on the passing of Uncle Mike, I can only think of a life well-lived. Thinking of Uncle Mike, and of Aunt Frances, always makes me smile because they were kind and gentle people. I remember trips to the cabin with them and with some of my other family members. We would take walks, go to the lake, eat crabs, and play cards. Simple things that meant so much to us kids. These memories are some of the finest ones that I carry with me. I am both blessed and grateful to have had Uncle Mike and Aunt Frances in my life. May they rest in peace.

I cannot express the sadness and emptiness I feel right now. Uncle Mike was such a kind soul and I loved him so much. Words cannot express how much I will miss him. I am so thankful that I got to spend some time with him before he passed away - I will treasure every minute that I spent with him! He took care of my mom and I can hear the first words she will say to him when she meets him in heaven. She will say "hey, fat belly what are you doing here." They were two of a kind - Aunt Frances was an added bonus to the twosome. I have a hole in my heart that will never be filled. My thoughts and sympathy go to everyone who knew, loved and will miss Uncle MIke. Agnes Soutar and family.

Uncle Mike was a great man. Growing up he took us so many places. I have and will hold dear to my heart everything we ever did. I will always remember my felt hat I found and put on my head - I can still see Uncle Mike laughing. I still have my hat that he and Aunt Frances gave me a few years ago. He was a kind and gentle man and nothing bothered him.He made everyone smile and gave the best hugs. Our sincere sympathy go out to his family! We all loved Uncle Mike and he will live in our hearts and memories forever! Love, Rose, Mike, Katie & Tim Durkin

“Poppa Pucci” was an amazing man. He inspired me in so many ways. When I was little, I wanted to be like him. So, I became a Baltimore City police officer, even though that was the last place he wanted me to work. (I made it out alive pop.)

I always enjoyed our movie and dinner dates, sharing “war” stories of the city, freezy-pops, and so much more. I will miss your smile, your laugh, your caring heart, but most of all I will miss your hugs.

Now that you’re in heaven looking down, please keep the rest of us safe. Tell Fran “I miss her” and give her a give kiss for me. I loved you both so much, you will always be in my heart. Thank you for all the love you gave in return.

Love,
Karen

My Uncle Mike was the most kindest, generous and loving man. He always had time to listen, joke and lighten the air around me whenever I was near him. No One can replace his hugs. I enjoyed and feel very grateful to have known such a kind soul. I hated to see him suffer since the loss of Aunt Frances, I know they are together now in peach and harmony. The love given to me will never be forgotten, I will grieve his loss my whole lifetime. His children came to together and let him know how important he was and the fortune to have had him will be forever imprinted in their hearts. My love to each of you as you go through day by day without him. Love Always, Antoinette (Pucci) Robinette
