SEVERE , Michael C. On August 23, 2013 Michael C. Severe ; beloved husband of Joy R. Severe (nee Beckford). Devoted father of Parker C. Severe and Darby A. Severe. Cherished son of Bernard A. Severe and his late wife Anne E. Severe. Loving brother of Phil Severe and his significant other Paula, Bernadette Michel and her husband Robert, Patricia Rom and her husband Richard, Robert Severe and his wife Barbara, Terry Severe, David Severe and his wife Sandy, Judy Camak and her husband Dana, Elizabeth Gant and her husband Douglas, Alice Powell and her husband John, Larry Severe and his wife Tammy, Anita Lenes and her husband Jody, Michelle Severe and her significant other Todd, Mark Beckford and Norman Beckford. Fun and loving uncle of Erica, Kevin, Regan, Ryan, Brooke, Bailey, Caitlin, Austin, Eric and his wife Valerie, Devin, Nicole, Anne, Kelley, Shelby, Shawn, Ryan, Connor, Logan, Kayla, Shanelle, Tanessa, Nathan, Matthew and Danielle. Also survived by many other loving relatives and friends. Mr. Severe graduated from Polytechnic High School in 1982 and was the owner of Michael Severe Wood Floors for 28 years.
Friends may call at the family owned Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 York Road (beltway exit 26) on Friday 2-4 & 6-8 pm . A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Shrine of the Sacred Heart Church (Mt. Washington) on Saturday at 10AM. Interment Private. Memorial Donations may be made to Itineris Baltimore 2201 Old Court Road Lower Level Baltimore, MD 21208 or www.itinerisbaltimore.org.

Dear Joy
I was extremely saddened to hear of your loss. Michael was fun to talk with, and always had an interesting story to share. I looked forward to our visits. I am so sorry to hear of Michael's passing. Michael refinished our floors three times over the years, we returned to him again and again because of his kind and honest manner. We trusted Michael with our home when we went away on vacation, knowing our home was in good hands. Michael talked to us about his family, who he obviously cared the world for. I only knew Michael a little, but he was always fun and caring, even if he didn't like to let it on. He never seemed to take anything too seriously with the exception of family. He will be missed but not forgotten.
