Patricia Betts Obituary
Friends may call the Betts Funeral Home 1129 N. Caorline St. on Friday 4-7 PM. Family will receive friends on Saturday at Mount Pleasant Church and Ministries 6000 Radecke Avenue 10-11 AM with the funeral service to follow. Interment Arbutus Memorial Park.

Ms.Pat took me in as one of her children,, she fussed at me like she fussed at you two, she encouraged me and its because of her that I am in school now,, I thank God for placing her and the two of you in my life... My family and I extend our deepest condolences to the Betts family....just 6 months ago I lost my mom and Mrs. Betts was so sweet and kind during my family's time of sorry...I am so sorry to hear of her passing...I was actually thinking about how kind she was to us and how I wanted to reach out to her again and thank her and within seconds of that thought I learned she'd passed...Thank you Ms Betts for the encourgement to the Midgett Family in our time of sorrow...

To Terri and Crystal I was saddened to here my girl went home to be with the Lord. Your mother was a beautiful woman who myself and my family was blessed to know. She blessed us also with her professional in handling many family members funeral arrangements. Let the Lord comfort you through this time as only He can. Know that you're in my prayers and throughts always. I'll miss her so much!

The world has lost a wonderful person. I've known
Patsy (that;s what we called her:-) all my life. We
grew up together on Milton Avenue back in the good
old days when neighborhoods were close. I will always
remember her beautiful smile and gorgeous face. My
heart goes out to Terri, Crystal and the rest of the
family. Stay strong and stay close and remember the
reserection! This is not the end...Jesus has so much
more in store for us.

To The Betts Family,
My sincere condolences. Mrs Betts serviced many of my family members ( Father, Stepmother,Grandmother, Grandfather, Uncles, Aunts, Brothers, Sister, Cousins) and personal helped me thru many hard times. She was an artist and the best in her trade. I thought she'd live forever. I'd always planned to have her make me beautiful at the time of my departure. God knows, that Woman's hands and her impeccable taste gave so much peace in times of pain for so many. God bless you, Pat. I will alway remember you and I will alway speak your name. You left a legacy not only for your family but for Black Women. Your strength, fortitude, black pride, and compassion will be some of the things I will tell others about you. When libation is poured and the names of the Great Ancestor are called, I will be proud to lend up your name as One who's shoulders we stand on. As One who gave of herself adding more dignity and honor to us as Black People. Be Peaceful in God's unchanging hands.

My condolenses to the family of Patricia Betts. Almost 25 years ago to the day, I was a young widow with a young child and had to bury my husband. A friend who worked with Mrs. Betts recommended her. Her thoughtfulness and professionalism helped me get though it all. Her wonderful wit and sense of humor helped me smile, when I thought I couldn't. The world has lost a true professional and a warm and caring person who treated all people with dignity and respect. Rest in peace.

I was so sorry to hear of Pat's passing. I worked with her right before she opened her funeral home business. She was a very loving and caring person and a lot of fun to be around! This world has suffered a great loss. My condolences to her two daughters that she loved dearly and her family and friends.

My memories of you are so vivid that they will forever be etched in my heart. When I think of you the words loving, kind, compassionate, regal, classy , magnificent, PHENOMONAL woman!!
